Why doesn't Backyard Birdscapes have information on all birds ?

We are located in the northeastern United States, specifically the upstate region of New York state. While we are interested in all birds and find them fascinating, Backyard Birdscapes deals specifically with the birds and critters that come to visit and frequent our yard and birds that are found within the general area of our homestead.

When is Backyard Birdscapes updated ?

Updates vary, but during the majority of the year I'd say something is added almost every day. Obviously whenever  a new bird stops by I make every effort to get photos posted and give it its own page, but a lot of other items such as habitat, feeding, projects and stories also get regular updates.
